Matt Wells is a vagabond of sorts, both personally and professionally. He spent his formative years in northern New Jersey, went to college in West Virginia, and has additional stops in Colorado and DC, before finally settling down in Maryland with his family. He’s traveled most of the continental United States by car, plane, truck, rail and bus, and aspires to one day do the same by foot. In total, Matt has moved a whopping 13 times in the last 21 years!
As a result, he’s logged a lot of miles, met a lot of people, and compiled a lot of stories.
Matt is a husband of 10 years, a girl dad, and their family has 2 cats and a dog. During the last 9 years, he has served as a CFP® and Director in the financial services industry, and has held a seat on a few non-profit boards. When he is not developing others, he is typically spending time with his family and friends, running, or taking in a good book or podcast. Constantly moving in the direction of a new challenge or goal, Matt is now focused on slowing down to better connect with the people and life around him…between the miles.
Chris is all about the journey. As a kid, he moved from NJ to Tokyo, Japan, followed by Hong Kong, Auckland, New Zealand, and then returned to NJ, where he spent his adolescence. But, the journey did not stop there. After college, Chris made his way to Baltimore, where he met his wife and started a family with two boys.
Over the last 17 years, he has been accompanying young people as a local parish youth minister. He is the founder of Marathon Youth Ministry Inc, an organization focused on providing coaching and cohorts for busy leaders, and currently serves as chair of the board for Uncuffed Ministries.
When he isn’t connecting with others he is taking a long run or getting lost on a hike through the woods.
