John Rusnak is the Executive Director of UnCuffed Ministries. UnCuffed Ministries forms relationships with incarcerated boys and girls to show them an alternate path that changes their narrative leading to redemption, hope, and the love of Jesus Christ. He is the former President of Pilgrimage Development. He is a 1986 Graduate of Bucknell University and a former Wall Street trader. In 2001, Rusnak was convicted for his part in a financial scandal at Allied Irish Banks. This began a journey from humiliation to humility that included 5 ½ years of incarceration. Rusnak found an incredible movement of Christ behind the prison walls that confined him, and his life was changed eternally. Since his return to society, Rusnak has become an advocate for second chances for men coming home from incarceration and for those in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. John sits on the Board of the Philemon Ministry. He is a fervent witness for his faith and God’s redemptive power to change. In this conversation, we unpack John’s story and the connections he’s made along the way.
